A PROMISING FIRST FAIR
The first DEKOREKS Istanbul Fair was successfully completed at the Tüyap Fair and Convention Center.
Born out of the needs and expectations of the construction industry in Turkey, the DEKOREKS Istanbul Lighting, Furniture and Decoration Fair was held concurrently with the UNICERA 23rd International Ceramic, Bath and Kitchen Fair at the TÜYAP Fair and Convention Center, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. The fair was opened by the Minister of Public Works and Settlement, Mustafa Demir.
The First Fair Was Very Popular
Filling a significant gap in the construction sector, the fair showcased indoor and outdoor lighting equipment, decoration accessories, furniture, and furniture components. The quality and the levels of interest of foreign delegations invited as Tüyap guests were very satisfactory to participants. Held under the motto “All the ideas you need to build your house,” the fair was visited by 60,841 people from 72 countries also due to the synergy created by the concurrent UNICERA 23rd International Ceramic, Bath and Kitchen Fair. The 3530 foreign visitors proved that the fair has considerable international potential.
