The band "A due Carmen" was formed in 2005 by Okan Isik (guitar), Askin Çolak (drum) and Can Temiz (bass). With Fatma Turgut (vocal) and Serkan Gürüzümcü (guitar) attending in 2007, the band changed their name to Model.
The pop rock band won the Special Billboard Prize at the "Roxy Music Festival”. After this success Model started to work on a debut album and Perili Sirk which covers a song with pop singer Levent Yüksel came out in 2009. The band actually gained fame with the second album "Diger Masallar" in 2011 which is produced and supported by rock singer and song writer Demir Demirkan.
