Aysaf grew by 40% by multiplying the trade volume of participants !
The AYSAF International Footwear Industry Suppliers Fair, the biggest commercial platform of shoe subsidiary industrialists in Turkey, took place at CNR Expo in Istanbul between 23-26 March 2011. Organized in two halls last year, the fair expanded to three halls this year and the professionals of the industry signed under new agreements. Visited by 16,757 professionals in total of which 947 were foreigners, subsidiary industry representatives were pleased with the results obtained.
The fair, which was highly popular among sole, shoe tree and leather companies, was organized by the Pozitif Trade Fairs Inc., an affiliate of CNR Holding. It was supported by the Association of Turkish Footwear Components Manufacturers (AYSAD), Turkish Footwear Industry Sector Research, Development and Education Foundation (TASEV) and Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB). Participating companies opened stands over an area of 30,000 m².
The fair grew by 40% in terms of m² compared to last year and the number of participants grew by 15% compared to last year including representatives and reached the number of 330. The fair is known for its nature of setting trends; some of the participating companies were as follows : Türkkan Sole (Plastab), Tuse Sole, Muya Sole, Tuba Sole, Ziylan Sole, Teknotab Sole, Sert Sole, Poltab Sole, Toktas Shoe Tree, Haka Shoe Tree, Remzi Shoe Tree, Cemtas Shoe Tree, Asil Shoe Tree, On-ar Shoe Tree, Kopüs Heel, Mader Leather, Uyguner Leather, Cevahir Leather, Kardersan Leather, Derimsan, Cihan Leather, Özsahin, Megatek Machinery, Elit Machinery, Prestij Machinery, Dededen Machinery, Famas Machinery, Filiz Machinery, Ilkon Machinery, Özyilmaz Machinery, Mert- Han Machinery and Duyar Inc.
Sole, shoe tree, heel, accessories, textile, chemical products, leather and machinery ( cutting, fabrication, ready sole, sawing and finishing) products were exhibited. The prominent participating countries were the P.R.C., Taiwan, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Iran, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the USA.
The participants of AYSAF were subsidiary industry companies which provide raw materials for the shoe industry that has an annual trade volume of approximately 4 billion USD. The visiting countries were Germany, Albenia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the UAE, Bulgaria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brasil, the P.R.C., Armenia, Morocco, Palestine, Georgia, the Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Italy, Kazakhistan, Kosova, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malasia, Egypt, Norway, Uzbekistan, Poland, the Russian Federation, Romenia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Serbia, Ukraine and Greece.
The 46th AYSAF, 7th International Shoe Subsidiary Industry Fair will be organised again at the CNR Expo between 05-08 October 2011.
