Gamze Saraçoglu marked the closing of the exhibition with her inspirational designs of pastel colours. The exhibitor companies’ special fashion shows were spectacular, as well.
SIMAY BÜLBÜL “ATTARTI ANA”
“The woman of the magic memories of Izmir where people from different religions and cultures has shared a common life for centuries; the mother of the magician women...A magician who sees and knows all, beyond brightness and darkness, goodness and badness, enjoyment and distress... Things she has seen belong to invisible world. She is the woman who is not only enchantmenting but also transforming... The power that passes our limited conscious beyond time and that carries us to borders beyond and infinity. Magic is within us. Magic is in woman. This is the truth; always!”
THE MOST UNIQUE SYMBOL OF HUMANITY “PAPILA” by GAMZE SARAÇOGLU
Romantic creations’ designer Gamze Saraçoglu, showing her ‘’Papila’’ collection, as the closing fashion show of IF Wedding Fashion Izmir 2011.
Gamze Saraçoglu is inspired by the finger print, that is identified as “Symbol of Uniqueness”, which is the theme of the collection.
The design story of Saraçoglu in “Papila” starts at the 6th month when the baby’s finger print first starts to appear and resumes until the 6th month when we leave the finger print and it disappears. Papila, come to life with the spirit of Saraçoglu by expressing the layers of the finger prints.
Gamze Saraçoglu makes a difference in her collections by specialized hand-craftmanship and uses Papila at the technical details of the collection. Saraçoglu continues to emphasize romanticism by the colors she uses in this season too: body colors, bronze, ecru and citron. Citron, being the most interesting color of this season, also symbolizes conglomeration like Papila does.
Gamze Saraçoglu puts her signature to this season with soft colors by using Papila on collars, hemlines and flounces with embrodiery and printing techniques which is a projection that we would not want to lose during our whole lives and starts to form while we are in our Mother’s Womp.
