Having celebrating their 40th founding year with a magnificent tour of Turkey in 2008, Mogollar continued their long-running career, which consists of dozens of recordings, numerous experimental performances, and many national and international awards, with the album Umut Yolunu Bulur [Hope Finds its Way] which was released last year after a five-year break. The mixing of the last album, produced by Emre Plak, was done by Mike Nielsen, the producer of such world famous bands as Jamiroquai and Underworld. The mastering was done by legendary recording engineer Andy Jackson who has worked with such names as Pink Floyd and Bob Geldof. Pioneer representatives of Turkish rock music, Mogollar will share songs from their new album alongside their vintage songs with their listeners at Salon. They will once again demonstrate that they are younger and more dynamic than many of us.
